What Coach Newman Had to Say:
"Great team effort today. Even though the score didn't reflect the result we wanted, there are many positive take-a-ways and elements of the game to build on. As we continue to develop, one of our goals has been our transition game and maintaining our sense of calm under pressure. Today we were able to execute on a level we had not yet experienced. We laced together multiple successful passes in transition, worked on positioning and staging a team based offensive strategy. I'm proud of how far we have come in such a short time. We look forward to continuing the upward trajectory as we face Juniata on Sunday."
Juniata College will travel to Babcock field for the Vixens next contest on Sunday. The match will get underway at 1 p.m.
