Sweet Briar Field Hockey Wraps Up Second Match In As Many Days

ALLENTOWN, Pa.- The Sweet Briar College field hockey team concluded a two-game weekend trip to Pennsylvania with a match at fellow women's college, Cedar Crest College. The host Falcons wasted no time taking the lead on their way to a 10-0 victory.

Rosemary Austin made 21 saves in goal for Sweet Briar, as the first-year continues her impressive season. The Commerce Township, Mich. native has now made an even 100 saves this season. 

The Vixens will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Ferrum College for a 7 p.m. match under the lights. They will end their week with the annual alumnae game, hosted on Saturday, Sept. 23 as part of the Founders' Day weekend festivities.
