Salem, Va. --- The Sweet Briar field hockey team jumped out to a 1-0 lead nine minutes into their contest versus Roanoke College on Saturday. The Vixens ended the period trailing 2-1 and the Maroons were able to control the second half to claim a 7-1 victory.
