Delmas Receives All-ODAC Honor

SWEET BRIAR, Va.  --- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) released its All-ODAC Women's Tennis First and Second Teams.

Freshman Caitlin Delmas (Asheville, N.C. / K-12 International Academy) was named to All-ODAC Second Team in the number one slot. During the season, Delmas had an 11-match winning streak in singles competition. She finished the season with an overall record of 12-2 in singles play.

Sweet Briar Tennis Head Coach Teresa Boylan commented, "Our team is very proud of first-year player Caitlin Delmas being named to the All-ODAC team at 1st singles.  Caitlin's ODAC record at the #1 spot is very impressive as a first year player and to see her in the company with the other noted #1 players in our conference is a true compliment to her."

Boylan also added, "We consider ourselves at Vixen Tennis fortunate to have her as a team member both on and off the court. Besides her outstanding tennis ability, she was also a first-semester Dean's List student-athlete.  It is my hope you'll see more of both areas of success going forward." Delmas has represented Sweet Briar College with great passion and effort, as was recognized by her competitors.  Congratulations Caitlin!

The All-Conference teams are voted on by each ODAC coach at the end of each season. For full results of the All-ODAC teams, visit
