Vixen Tennis Competes at Shenandoah

WINCHESTER, Va. --- Sweet Briar College played its fourth match in five days on Thursday afternoon at Shenandoah University.

Caitlin Delmas (Asheville, N.C. / K-12 International Academy)  and Glory Bowman (Roanoke, Va. / Patrick Henry) each picked up wins at the one and two spots to give SBC two points.  The host Hornets swept doubles and grabbed the remaining four singles points to earn the 7-2 conference win.

With the loss, the Vixen tennis record moves to 5-11 overall and 3-7 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.

SBC takes a break in action and returns to competition on Tuesday, April 15 when the team travels to Emory & Henry College.

Also this week the NCAA sponsored Division III Week continues.  Through Sunday, April 13 SBC along with DIII colleges and universities across the country are celebrating the student-athlete experience. Learn more about Why D3 here.
