After the year with the Gophers, Engster became an assistant director and women's lacrosse coach with Diamonds Lacrosse (2009-2011), a prominent all-girl's lacrosse club in Baltimore, Md.
During her tenure with Diamonds Lacrosse, Engster held head coach positions at St. Paul's School for Girls (Brooklandville, Md.) and The Park School (Baltimore, Md.).
