Lacrosse Honors Link in Senior Day Game

SWEET BRIAR, Va.  --- It was windy afternoon at Babcock Field for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup between the Sweet Briar College Vixens and the Roanoke College Maroons. Senior defender Megan Link (Great Falls, Va. / Langley) was honored during pregame.

Link, an environmental science major, was escorted in pregame festivities by her parents Helen and Sandy Link. During her tenure, Link moved from playing goalkeeper to defender.

Allison McLamb (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) led the Vixens with two goals. However, the Vixens were upended, 25-6.

Sweet Briar's record now stands at 3-9 overall and 1-6 in the ODAC.  SBC will travel to Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. for an ODAC contest on Saturday, April 9.

SBC continues the week long celebration of Division III Week though the next four days. Division III Week is a National Collegiate Athletics Association initiative geared to highlighting Division III student-athletes and their many accomplishments as scholars, athletes and citizens.
