Student-Athletes Honored at Annual Awards Banquet
On Friday, May 4, the Sweet Briar athletics department held the annual varsity awards banquet. The event took place in the Fitness and Athletic Center on Sweet Briar’s campus. Upchurch transformed from field house to student-athlete showcase for the end of the year ceremony. The program began with an address by Sweet Briar College president, Jo Ellen Parker.

"Learn To Swim" Progam Launched
Sweet Briar College Swim Coach and Aquatics Director Jason Gallaher recognized a need for youth swim lessons in the Amherst County area.
